Buttons & Beads

I've not been playing with paper these last few weeks. I have a sudden need to try something new and different. I got my beads out and got hold of some buttons off ebay. I went a bit bead crazy a few years ago and luckily they don't go off. Here's my new bracelet, a mix of czeck and indian glass.
This is my first button necklace, I'm going to take it apart and thread it onto something a bit stronger, I just don't think that the clear beading thread is going to take the weight. This mark two one is on a cotton cord. Much stronger. I still need to work on the technique but I love the shape when it's on.
Long weekends of crafting... bliss :)

I know this is quite an old post, but i seem to always be behind on things lol. But I absolutely love this necklace!! I was wondering if you could tell me how you made it? I'd like to try my hand at making one :)

It's made really simply, just sorting the buttons into size order and then threading them onto thin cord, one facing in, next one out!

Pretty straighforward but if you have any bother email me and I'll try to help :)
